When I was walking Teddy through some woods the other evening, the sun was shining on a clump of bright orange flowers. I was amazed and pleased to see that they were Lilium Superbum, which I have never seen growing wild before.
I went back with my camera this evening, scrambled through the mosquito infested undergrowth, nearly tripped over fallen trees a few times, then stood as still as I could to get a few shots, at High ISO unfortunately as the sun was behind clouds this evening :(
These flowers are elegant and beautiful from all angles, but I thought this shot from above was an unusual one.
It is a bit noisy I know, but I have not managed to find a good way to reduce the noise on it yet,
