Coincidentally I had arranged to meet some English friends at the American Harvest Restaurant at Schoolcraft College
for breakfast on the same morning as my son Harry was taking a practical final for his Restaurant Operations
class for the lunch service. The culinary college students prepare a wonderful array of foods for the restaurant
and if you are ever in the area, you should go there to eat, the food is all excellent!
Harry had to cook a rabbit dish with various vegetables, sauces and a dumpling. I was very nervous for
him and did not want to make him TOO nervous by taking photos of him, but had my little camera with me and snapped one
or two pics and this one came out very well I think.
My friends and I left at 10 am, after the breakfast service was over, and Harry carried on preparing until 11.30 when he had to give his finished dish to the teacher to taste.
Harry had his little camera with him and took some photos of his lunch dish as he likes to do to remember these things for the future and one of his images is below.
His teacher, the chef who had to taste his food said that it tasted wonderful and gave him an excellent grade we are pleased to say!
