I have two monitors, each giving a slight different color rendition. I looked at this image again on my second monitor and it seems darker to me, and thereby richer and more expressive of the ritual involved. Another factor is the pbase compression, which can change an image slightly. In any event, the image seems stronger to me now than it initially did.
A magnificent image, Mo -- in very sense of that word: scale incongruity, form, content, and expression.
My own preference is for darker feet and richer color in the offering, but it is your own objective that counts, not mine.
