I'm in complete agreement with Phil on this one. The footprint marked foreground, the slope, the dunes in the background, the colors and posture of the people and camel. This is wonderful.
I was all over Rajastan in 1995. Took lots of film photos but have never scanned them to work on them digitally.
This is one of your most expressive images, Mo. A study in color, texture, and rhythm, it seems to almost move within the frame. It is also one of your simplest photographs -- there is not an inch wasted -- the negative space is as important as the positive space. And there is not a single distraction in it, either. Congratulations.
