Bertha, her husband and the dog Zorro have been living in the neighborhood for 12 years, before they lived in a big house in Bierbeek, but the work in the garden became too much for them as they grew older. Now Bertha enjoys walking the dog, making the canary sing, gardening a little bit and talking about her family of three daughters and 8 grandchildren, seven girls and a boy, aged 22 to 10.Alas, Bertha passed away in June of 2008.
