My parents (Pat & Paul) and I visited Monteverde in late January 2003. The guided night tour at Ecologica Finca was fascinating....nocturnal birds, insects, spiders, sloths, etc. P2 enjoyed the canopy bridge walk at Sky Walk, experiencing the cloud forest from an elevated perspective. Our visit to the butterfly garden, El Jardin de las Mariposas, resulted in a pretty good close-up photo of ants feasting on a wasp...poor wasp. Then we had a guided walk of Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve by gringo bird expert.
