Cattails

Cattails Golf Club is a challenging 18 hole, public golf course situated on 130 acres along State Road 13. The original nine holes was designed by renowned golf course architect William Diddel as a highly playable links styled layout, developed in 1924 as the former Elwood Country Club.

During 2006, Cattails Golf Club was expanded to its current 18 hole track with the addition of the new nine holes on 68 acres of land surrounding Duck Creek. Designed by golf course architect Ron Kern, the new back nine routing plan features more dramatic ravine topography, with multiple creek crossings, elevated tees/greens and dense woodland areas.
