Trumpeter Swan ~ Creek Road - Chadds Ford, PA

The following info is from a PA Birders writeup regarding this particular swan: http://birding.aba.org/message.php?mesid=608699&MLID=&MLNM=Delaware
"The yellow wing tag with the black lettering designation of "K46" indicates that this swan is part of the reintroduction research program based in the province of Ontario.
I have submitted the documentation of this swan to the USGS Bird Banding Laboratory and will share the report on this particular bird's history." (derek AT delawarenaturesociety.org)

The first one is a really unique shot with it peeking over its wing. The second one is beautiful with superb light and clarity. It will be really interesting for you to be able to follow this bird's history. V
