Amphitheater in Arles (2010)

The amphitheater, capable of seating over 20,000 spectators in the heart of Arles, is considered one of the most beautiful in Provence.
It was built as a copy of Rome's Coliseum.
Long ago, the amphitheater provided entertainment in the form of chariot races and bloody hand-to-hand battles.
Bullfights have been held here for the past 2,000 years and continue to be held here today.
Plays and concerts are also held here during the summer.

I thought Coke was an American invention? Seems I was wrong, the Romans knew about it zillions of years ago. Cue Monty Python sketch: "What have the Romans ever done for us....?" LOL
