Mr. Emu lives up the street from us. Last year he broke free of his fenced-in field and found his way to our home.
Not knowing how to handle an emu, I was successful in getting him to follow me up the street as if I were the pied piper.
Then the fun began with a dog / emu fight........ Fortunately the emu was able to outrun the golden retriever.
Finally I got the emu into his fenced-in field (after wrapping my arms around his body near the neck & walking him forward).
Gosh I wish that I had my camera on me that day!
All's well that ends well!
