Surrey - Quintessentially England

In March 2020 Barbara and I began a long-anticipated home exchange in the 'stockbroker belt' county of Surrey, south of London, just as the daffodils, harbingers of spring, began to flourish in every garden, meadow and churchyard. However, after barely two weeks, our stay was unavoidably cut short by the global COVID-19 pandemic crisis - the crew on our homebound flight were working their last shifts before an indefinite stand-down.

In the relatively short time available we enjoyed some pleasant interludes in this quintessentially English part of Britain.

These images were taken with Nikon D300 using RAW format, and are available for licensing.
