Why am I not yet living in Slovenia? A small country, out-of-the-way, its forests and mountains largely unspoilt, its cities compact yet as sophisticated as any. Slovenia was part of the former Yugoslavia, but the ambience is Germanic or Swiss, rather than Slav.
