Impressions from a home exchange stay in a modern apartment on the shores of Lake Malaren, Stockholm, in July, followed by a few days exploring Copenhagen. Lake Malaren is the body of water which encloses the many forested islands of the Stockholm Archipelago. With as much as 20 hours of daylight to enjoy, people all around us were living life outdoors, out on or beside the water. Water traffic glides, chugs, rumbles and roars across these waterways at all hours. At the height of the northern summer, Stockholm becomes a veritable Sydney of the North.
Images captured in RAW format with Nikon D300 and are available for licensing. Please visit www.travelgame.org.
