Journey to Kengtung

A journey in time and space - 163 kilometres and half a century - from Mae Sai, northern Thailand, overland across the border of Burma (Myanmar), to reach the historic Shan crossroads town of Kengtung (Kyaingtong), secluded in a remote valley. Burma's stringent regulations ban foreigners from crossing most other land borders.
