Historic Finger Wharf and the Garden Island naval base at Woolloomooloo, Sydney

Finger Wharf is a heritage-listed former wharf and passenger terminal, in the inner city Sydney suburb of Woolloomooloo. It was built from 1910 to 1916 and now houses the Ovolo Hotel. The wharf now forms part of a marina for luxury private vessels, contrasting with the starkly utilitarian ships of the Royal Australian Navy berthed at the nearby Garden Island base.
