Shihuh villager from the Musandam mountains

A lone Shihuh villager emerges from barren, rocky scrubland on the Musandam Peninsula, Oman, to request a top-up for his jerry can. These little-known mountain dwelling villagers pre-date the Gulf Arab population of eastern Arabia, and speak an archaic language of their own.

Fantastic encounter! I recall flying over these villages in a friends untra-light, thinking how could one possibly access these villages otherwise.
