A glimpse of Bratislava

Who could resist the possibility of a day trip to a country not previously visited? Bratislava, the Slovak capital, lies within an hour or so down the Danube (or Donau) from Vienna, by train or by fast catamaran. This small city, its heritage more Hungarian than Slavic, lies on the borders of 3 countries. Mind you, such distinctions have become noticeably less important than when I first travelled in Europe.

These images were taken with Nikon D300 using RAW format, and are available for licensing.
