Bruges and Flanders Fields, 2014 (6 galleries)

A home exchange in the heart of the medieval Flemish city of Bruges (Brugge) with excursions to the nearby First World War battlefields of the Ypres Salient, better known as Flanders Fields, then by paddlesteamer to the backwater town of Damme. This extended stay was followed by a few days each in Amsterdam and Berlin, before continuing on to a further home exchange in Stockholm.

This published article describes my experiences in Bruges.
