Palouse Gorge
Soon the dynamics are whining away as we begin our 0.60% decent back into the gorge.
Here we are back on the short, but high bridge which crosses the Palouse River this time looking south.

Palouse Canyon
A view out the window looking at a deep cut the Palouse River made over hundreds of years. I realize that I'm getting a pretty rare view of this beautiful gorge.

We make our way back out on Joso Trestle, but this time the river is full of people enjoying the nice afternoon.

Jet Skiers
Another view of the jet skiers turned rail fans. There are 3 riding on the one already stopped and they’re all doing the, “Honk Your Horn sign,” so we give them a few friendly toot’s.

Palouse River
The view from up here is awesome, although the clouds did cast a big shadow in the area.
Here is a look north/east where the Palouse River merges with the snake.

Looking East
Looking directly east you can clearly see the SR 261 bridge, and in the distance is the former Camas Prairie Railnet crossing which leads to Lewiston Idaho. Boo Clouds!
