Owen and Ash had an eventful practice day with Ash spinning at the Esses and clouting the barrier, hence the white bumper. Then on the third lap of the first race, he went straight on at Riches which resulted in a trip through the gravel, dislodging the new replacement front bumper! Unperturbed, he battled on through the tricky conditions, handing the Clio over to Owen who brought it home in 9th place.
The second race was a bit less eventful and resulted in another 9th place finish. After the first four races of the season, BPM Racing are holding a superb 4th place in the Production S1 Championship.
It was not easy bringing her in, no wheels, no steering, no engine...........
Just shows you how good I am!

Hi Ash,
In reference to the second photo, your bumper seems to missing a Clio.

I did not spin at the Esses, someone moved the tyres, and as for going straight on at Riches, again, not the case. Someone shortened the straight on the third lap and moved the gravel track further down the pit lane!
Now that is sorted, once again thanks to the team, Matt, Jim and Chris with help from Keith for giving us a superb car. We had horrendous issues, the car had a bent rear beam and had this since we got the car, it only came to light in testing when Owen bought her back after a few laps saying the steering wheel was not straight.
This was found late Friday, around 12 at night!
The guys found the problem, a quick trip by Matt to Rockingham to collect the spares, they worked late Saturday night and hey presto, all was fixed.
Owen managed a 1:27 on the Friday, the fastest lap all weekend, in the wet we both managed a 1:30.5, shows that the car was fixed.
Great job by all
And once again, many thanks to Gary for the superb photographs.
