Race 1 for BPM's second outing of the season at Snetterton was delayed due to a waterlogged circuit. After a delay of around an hour, Owen started the race by chasing down and eventually passing the blue Proton Coupe of Laurence Fagg. He then handed over to Ash who maintained their 8th position overall which equated to a podium-grabbing 3rd in class.
Race 2 was run in much better conditions and with bright sunshine and a dry circuit, Ash started this time and once again had to pass the Proton. After the mid-race pitstops were completed, Owen brought the Clio Cup home in another 8th place. By playing their double points-earning joker and with the championship leaders Ainge and Broad non-starting their Honda Integra, BPM Racing moved up to 2nd overall in the Production S1 championship and into the lead of their class. A very fruitful weekend's racing.
