BPM Racing's debut race in Production S1 with their Renault Clio Cup. After a fraught test day when Ash was hit by a Honda Civic, damaging the Clio's rear suspension, the team took a cautious approach to their first qualifying session, posting the 16th fastest time out of the 17 runners. Conditions were extremely cold and with the occasional snow flurry to liven things up, Owen took the start, handing the car over to Ash at mid-distance. A clean and tidy race for the team resulted in them coming 15th of the 16 finishers, with Ash taking a class 1 BMW M3 near the end to ensure they didn't come last! In the process, 7 seconds were knocked off the morning's qualifying time during the race.
Guys, congratulations on competing in...and completing...your first race. One of many I hope for you and the team.
A huge thank you for your hospitality on the day. My son, Luke, had a fantastic time despite the weather and he was hyped all weekend.
Regards, and good luck for snetterton!
Dave.

I would just like to second that.
Especialy thanks to Synchro for the loan of your press. The 9V battery in exchange was more than fair ;-)
Ash - we don't need a 40 tonner. A nice 7.5T with accomodation will be fine.
Cheers

Thanks to all on the day, especially Chris, Jim and Matt. You made our day, changing the rear bearing and stub axle in record time allowing us to race.
Also a big thanks to all the other teams for being patient, giving us a wide berth and generally helping us in the garage when we needed the tools. (we do have tools, just not got the 40 tonner to fit them all).
Lastly, thanks to Gary for the great shots, makes me feel like a proper racer seeing that lot.
