TR7 Rebuild & Engine pics

Rebuild of relatively low tune RV8 for my 7. Soft Cam skimmed heads on standard Land Rover V8 Defender 3.5 Also Piccie of car Probably around 220BHP, 150 hours in building the engine.
Car was a professional rebuild onto a californian shell, car was put back on the road June
2003. Engine & front suspension build was mine. Car is documented in Roger Williams TR7 & TR8 book, where some of these pics appear.

Hi Jim and Becky, Good to meet you today. like the TR7 the top is the same colour as the TR6. Engine is cleaner and looks smart is it in the car????????? or do you make a lot of noise at the traffic lights????? best wishes Lynne & Chris

Mike, thank for the comments, its a Rovercraft RC87, with from memory 26-66 with slightly more lift than a standard Rover one. The cam is designed for 4 x 4s with manual boxes. Pulls from 1000RPM like a train but could do with a rolling road session. Progress ENgineerings guess was around 220 BHP in this spec. Their is 140 hours of my own graft in that engine, Oh and forgetting what the wife looks like ;-) Jim
