There is quite nothing like it, being born of Italian parents raised in Australia and then having spent the last 20 years in England. I consider myself an Aussie of Italian bloodline. Not knowing what to expect from Mongolia i find a restaurant that matches one in downtown Rome for food and style, gutted i am not sampling the wood fired pizza oven which which was being built as i was leaving.
For me, it was all about Jijic Irish [small irish, Dublin Bar as it's really known] and my favourite, Marco Polo restaurant. Superb food and super nana balerinas.... how i miss them both !!!!!
Big up to Franco and Oggi, Punchai, Uga, Shine, Battsegseg and Zola. And of course Puje and Bucks, thanks for making my stay so enjoyable and thanks for some of my best days/nights in Mongolia. Grazie. Oh and a big F you to you know who!!! Ah and no not bitter at all Mr Smoyle, you know the score!!
