The festival that never was! We arrived at Sunrise Celebration in glorious sunshine but persistent rain in the days beforehand had already put the festival in jeopardy and a further torrential downpour just a couple of hours after we arrived left some areas of the site under a foot or more of water and the organisers were left with no option but to cancel the event.

So, having queued for nearly 3 hours for a tractor to tow us offsite the following morning we decided to make the most of a bad situation and headed off up the M5 to the Wychwood Festival at Cheltenham….
