Wow, this is a fantastic shot!! I saw your post about the Nikon 300mm @ F/4 on the slrgear page and I must say I'm blown away. You say you use MLU. What is MLU? Could you have shot this image at a faster speed and using a wider f-stop in order to avoid using a tripod, or do you necessarily have to use a tripod? I did tele macro shooting with a Tamron 200-500mm with my previous camera (Sony a700), but I recently switched to Nikon and would be really interested in doing macro your way. Please get back to me about MLU and the tripod necessity/option. Thanks a million for your inspiration. Best, Skipper28.
