Spring Has Sprung And The Birds Are Back To Play! May 5 08

Finally we got some sunshine, a nice "Springy" weekend, and the swallows, sparrows, crows, etc., were flitting around!

I decided to try the Canon 1D Mk III on these frustratingly small, fast birds! As expected, I had a hard time even finding them in my viewfinder as they were dashing around, much less focus on them, but I did manage to get more keepers than last year with the 30D -- Good News!!!
