My grandson Israel and I explored a place I had never heard of before, Oaks Bottom Nature Reserve, which is located on the East Side of the Williamette River across from southern Portland and adjacent to, of all places, the Oaks Park Amusement Park as well as residential areas. We spent a couple of hours exploring and photographing, Israel choosing to use my Canon S3 IS for its zoom range!
