I've been exploring a series of little places here in Vancouver, WA that I wasn't aware of previously, a series of forest/wetland areas that run through town, east to west, following a couple different stream watersheds. "Beaver Marsh Park" was set aside at the juncture of two freeways, with tunnels allowing the stream to flow under the freeways and into the wetland/forest.
Not many birds were around on this visit, but I did take some spring flower pictures. The wider scenes were shot with my 5D and the 24-105 lens. The flowers and birds were all shot with the 100-400 lens with a 1.4x TC on the 1D Mk III using a monopod.
