While walking near my home, I passed a little churchyard lined with trees coated with some very distinct lichen. At the time the afternoon sun was shining but I didn't have a camera or the time to run back and grab gear.

So, I decided to set up a project. When we got afternoon sun and I could, I would pack my Canon 5D Classic and some lenses with a tripod.

So, for Part 1 I mounted my Canon 24-70 f/2.8 lens and set up at several positions to take in various aspects of the scene.
