Weilerbach, a former crown forest village has approx. 4700 residents plus approx. 1000 Americans, U.S. military and civilians with their families.
It is located in Rheinland Pfalz (Rhineland Palatinate) one of the 16 States of the Federal Republic of Germany.
The village was first mentioned as Wilrebach in historical documents in the year 1214) and is named after a small creek running through the center.
First traces of human beings date back to Stone Age. Later, Celts and Romans left behind rich archaeological finds.

It offers excellent shopping facilities and various services, commercial companies, and
tradesmen. Its diverse cultural activities are also a valuable addition to village life. For many
years, Weilerbach has been maintaining close relationships to its sister communities: Kingsbridge,
England, and Isigny-sur-mer, France.
