November Fog at the Castle on the Hill

Thallichtenberg, Germany

Castle Lichtenberg is one of the largest (in diameter) Castle Ruins in Germany and approx.
15 Miles away from where we live. It was never captured during the many wars since built,
but was burned down about 200 years ago. It was constructed in 1200 by the Counts of Veldenz.
Some areas are now used as a Museum, Restaurant, and Hostel. It is also used as a County Marriage Office.

Always cool to see something like this in the fog. I'll have to go back and look at my castle shots and see if I have this one. We saw over twenty castles while traveling on the Rhine. V

Ce chateau qui apparaît à travers le brouillard offre une superbe vision.
C’est excellent.
