View to the Minster

Freiburg i. Breisgau, Germany

It is the only Gothic church in Germany whose tower has survived since the Middle Ages.
Freiburg was heavily bombed during World War II and many of the buildings around the Minster were leveled
so it seems a small miracle that the church did not get destroyed.
The tower is 116 meter high but the scaffolding of the ongoing renovation obscures the beauty of it.
I hope to get another photo after the renovation is completed.
