Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe

Berlin, Germany

The Berlin Holocaust Memorial, by the American architect Peter Eisenman, lies between East and West Berlin.
The Memorial is made up of 2,711 massive rectangular stones on a sloping stretch of land.
The Memorial resembles a vast field of nameless tombstones and captures the horror of the Nazi death camps. ((Architecture Expert Jackie Craven)
