45 minute late start and the fans were restless. It began with a bombastic noise piece and then Prince disappeared for almost an hour (technical problems?).
He came back to do Purple Rain, Kiss and 1999 and some more of his hits. Have to admit that these were done excellently, especially his dance in Kiss.
The rest of the “concert” consisted of sound check music that was so loud that I had to put a wadded up ticket in my ears. Most of the 10,000 fans left the stadium in disbelieve...
I had to have a Koelsch beer at the hotel afterwards to recover!
