East Frisia (Ostfriesland)

East Frisia or Eastern Friesland is a coastal region in the northwest of the German federal state of Lower Saxony.
It is the middle section of Frisia between West Frisia in the Netherlands and North Frisia in Schleswig-Holstein. Wikipedia

You've conveyed a fine sense of space and light and colour; a wonderful atmosphere bringing these flat lands to life. (I visited North Frisia briefly, but it was early winter with the sea in the process of freezing up; a very different atmsophere; seriously bleak.)

Love those 'strandkorbe' baskets - is it privacy they offer or just shelter from the stiff sea breeze? - and those sweeping expanses of green grass and blue sky. Most evocative.
