Walt Disney World December 2004

I took my Mom to Orlando to enjoy the holiday festivities at WDW. This was a difficult trip on several levels: we had not fully anticipated the cold weather, plus, this was our first visit without my Dad, who passed away in October. We managed to enjoy a little bit of everything, and even squeezed in a trip to Vero Beach to visit my godmother.

We were there too this time, completely unprepared for the weather. Ended up splurging on disney clothing to keep warm. Great gallery

We were at Disney at the same time - in fact I was right next door in the Port Orleans French Quarter resort.
Boy was it cold! Remember that one day that the high temp was only 43F?
I took lots of pictures - just type [YSIC] in the PBASE search engine to go there.

Mom wouldn't want to be in a car with you on those San Fran streets. I was and I think that was when I got my first grey hair. Wouldn't that be a blast for mom if you could wheel her up to the top of that hill and let her ride down? Much better than Space Mountain!

Looks like its a bit chilly in Florida, however, it is warmer there than it has been here for the past two days.
Hope you are having fun. The hotel looks lovely. That San Francisco background is just lovely. Where is that in Disneyland?
