Foro Italico

Construction for this Art Deco / neo-classical sports complex began in the 1920s. It was eventually used for the 1960 Olympics, and is still used for sporting events today. The stadium known as the Stadio dei Marmi is surrounded by 60 marble statues of mostly nude male athletes representing each of the Italian provinces.
