It's not a Destroyer, it's a Fleet Supply ship.

Yes, the peak is Tai Mo Shan.

You can see a lot of land reclamation going on over there - that's what those 'beaches' are.

Isn't the peak on the right Tai Mo Shan. If you look closely you can see the two "golf balls" whicgh housed the RAF's Radar. I was worked there in the early 70's

this photo taken from North Point area near Victoria Park on Hong Kong Island. Peak on right is Kowloon Peak, which I climbed. There is a cave up there that my sister almost died in, in 1966, I believe...fell into a hole of unknown depth, held only by her arms on the perimeter of the hole. We still talk about that today.
