This night was an amazing experience for me in Tokyo. I have been branded a hipocritical conservationist by my Icelandic friend for my philosophies on life and preservation of the Earths endangered animals. Yet at the end of the day it must be said that I am in the industry of Managing Fisheries to ensure long-trem sustainablity. Therefore I joined some friends and we ventured to a Minke whale restaurant and I must admit the steaks were simply delicious!!! However for those of you which may be disturbed by this I will have you know that the Minke whale population off the Icelandic coast is estimated between 50000-80000 animals and they have an annual research quota of only 38 animals! This culinary experience was followed by beers in a bar in Shibuya and then my second only Karaoke experience in Jiyugaoka where I was cranking out old favourites including U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam and many more!! Great night and we will return!!!!
