We spent the last day of Golden Week exploring the beautiful Enoshima Island which is about 1 hour from Tokyo. The Island is very historical and has an amazing collection of temples and shrines. Some speciality seafood from the Island includes clam (hamaguri) and cone shell (sazai). The walk around the Island is simply stunning with ancient, winding, cobblestone roads lined with beautiful forest. There is a remarkable variety of quaint, local shops distributed throughout the small villages scattered on the Island. The highlight was dinner in an outdoor restaurant at the western tip of the Island. Here we had a superb view of the setting sun in a restaurant positioned at the precipice of a 100 m vertical cliff face.

Yeah I just came back from Japan my self. My girlfriend lives in kanagawa, actually just go behind the brigde behind the tall white buildings. Enoshima is an amazing place to go, that country is so beautiful. I will try to live ther in the future. Those are some great pictures you had taken. I enjoyed looking at them.
