Thousands and thousands of Starlings gathers to their sleeping quarters in a small town on the German Border. A sight that can be seen in September and October before their journey south. The phenomenom is also known as "Black Sun".

Ouf ! il y a beaucoup d'oiseaux noirs sur cette photo. Je ne suis donc pas la seule à être envahie par ce phénomène. Bravo pour vos photos !

well done to have captured a skyfull; we have seen smaller massings in Suffolk, but never got a worthwhile image
