It was dreary and overcast as we left town this morning.

Fall has arrived a wee bit early this year, a pleasant change from the ninety-plus weather all the way up to Halloween we usually endure.
On our way out of town, I stopped for this picture.
I've been by her a million times, always saying I need to take a picture here, so today I did so.
This is an old sign at the Highway 46/Wasco turn off from freeway 99.
The "motel" part is indicative of the old fifties and sixties advertising and commercial styles.
There's just a touch of the 1960's "space race" mixed with a sprinkle of early Disneyland in it.
