March 26th - Kindergarden

I bought this camera years ago when I was in college. It was my first real camera, a Pentax K1000. Nothing on it is auto,
you do it all yourself. I took a lot of photos with this camera over the years. Mostly black and white and then some color.
I carried it with me everywhere, I was never without it. Everyone I knew was a subject, sometimes begrudgingly. They were
all very kind to put up with me.

I put it down a few years back and only took it out of the closet on occasions. Then I stumbled onto pbase. I browsed and
skimmed the galleries. It made me hungry to take pictures again. So I bought my Digital Rebel and signed up for a year of
PAD. I've met a lot of good people (online and in person) through PAD, people who have been extraordinary in their
friendship and their support, not to mention their vision. I haven't regretted it!

Okay, sometimes, late at night, when I'm almost out of time and I find myself scrambling for an idea, I regret it... ;-)

Two days to go!

Very cool, Todd's old school!

Todd, that camera has lots of automatic features. Auto diaphram in the lens, instant return mirror, self cocking shutter, double exposure prevention... It would have wow'd the world if it had been introduced in 1960. :-)

This camera is legendary, and a wonderful camera with which to learn photography. You ought to break out a roll of film for old times sake!

2 to go! Alright! I am right there with you, bro!
