Here's Jack and Sophie during a quite moment after running amok on the beach in Cayucos.

The weather favored us today with a break in the rain. The pups ran and played and ran some more.
They met all kinds of friends, both human and four-legged, all along the beach. We were in a rather protected area, between
the ocean and the houses along the hill and the rocky outcropping at one end of the beach. We took both dogs of their leads
and let them go. Sophie was off like a shot, running just as fast as she could up and down the beach and doing wide circles
around us. What fun! We laughed and laughed and vicariously enjoyed her enthusiasm.
Jack ran along after her the best he could, but he's not the athlete that Sophie is.
