Something happened to this when I uploaded it earlier this morning, I still don't know what. So here goes again...
There is a song by this name, but it doesn't speak to the fog we get. It rolled in last night after a few days of very nice weather.
We get fog at this time of the year here in the southern part of the central valley in California. An inversion layer (northstar
should know what that is) keeps the cold air and fog/smog close to the ground with a layer of warm air above. The fog can
get as thick as pea soup, so to speak, and can last for days or weeks. Where other places have snow days for their schools,
we get fog days.
I made a couple of stops for pictures on way to work this morning as I drove through downtown. I think this one turned out the best.
