July 3rd - Making A Mess

I've jumped in with both feet.

We've been needing some work done in the kitchen for about two years now. We had a roof put on back then and it involved
replacing some dry rot. I had someone do the structural stuff right away, but I thought I could handle the rest of it myself.
I've been puting it off ever since.

Now we need the work finished. Cathi threaten me with life and limb if I didn't get it taken care of somehow. I made dozens
of calls to contractors, but no one is availbale untill the fall.

So here I am, hammer in hand, making a mess. I've pulled all the old paneling down, cleaned up the walls and now I need to
do the same with the ceiling. Then I can get an electrician in to wire some outlets, put some sheetrock up and finish the room.

Whew!!!

Yeah, I like the lighting too. Good luck with that in this godforsaken heat.

Oh, man, I've already learned this lesson. This all happened because of the roof in the first place!

Oh, poor, poor Cathi.... ;) Todd, I hate to tell you this, but these projects have a way of growing, and growing! Good luck, and keep us posted!

Only 2 years? What an impatient lady.

Excellent clarity and exposure here, Todd. Which lens? is that the kit or 28-135? Oh.. and.. well looks pretty neat to me!
