Hi Todd. The extent of your travel is incredible. I have yet to really give the photos a thorough look but look forward to doing so. I had heard the Epson 4870 was a good scanner- must have been you that told me that when I first bumped in to you last year. Thanks for inspiring us all!

Great photos.

Especially enjoyed (and was frightened by) your photos of the mainly new architecture in my native Santiago. The pace of change is astounding and you document it VERY well.

I could not even place many of the building you shot. I can remember as a child (in the 70s) going to see the Torres Tajamar (yuk) at that time famous for probably being the only building of 20+ stories in all of Chile. Not much had change until the early 90s and now every time I go back I'm confronted by an new cluster of mini-Manhattan skylines somewhere in town. All and all, I think the city is vastly improved in the last 20 years or so. Now if they could only make a dent in the smog issue a little faster...

I would say you have been successful, in allowing those who can't go to these amazing places to experience them. Your pictures capture something more than images, they really really gave me a feeling of being there, I felt like I was back in Mexico City, or Venice. Thanks for letting me know about your site. Thanks for your nice comment in my "Amsterdam" gallery.

Great photos here, too. Are you contemplating the jump into full digital, instead of film scanning? Either way, you have a special eye for these travel shots.

Quite a globetrotter, I gather...I see you already covered many places in Europe. Maybe next time you’ll drop by this continent you’ll want to consider visiting Portugal?

For, as much as I love my country I would not advise anyone travelling from another continent to visit here first...There are just too many much more interesting places around Europe to go.

But, on a second or third visit, I'll definitely would recommend coming here. You'll have plenty of photo opportunities and, as a bonus, will be able to enjoy some seriously friendly people towards tourist (a welcome change from France, for instance...) and radically different types of food, changing from place to place, in an amazing variety for such a small country.

Yes, I am currently going back and putting transparent logos on the photos. As they are they disrupt the images too much. The photos of China were the first ones I posted and were sort of an experiment. I had reservations and perhaps I was right. Anyway, I hope to have a travel website up someday soon of the name GlobalTravelViews. Thanks for the comments. I will certainly check out your page.

HI. very nice photos, very sharp and nice compossistion. it hurts i want to go somewhere right know abroad that is, love the collors but i just hate the logo i think it is to obvious ruined the exsperience a little, and you have to come visit Iceland lovely place nice light for photography and not as cold as commonly thought
