The one my friend picked up today has a pinkish body. He thought it was a toy. Yes, he got stung. He took a photo of it. If interested in the photo, let me know.

I'm no whimp, my shoulder brushed by one and I screamed bloody murder for someone to get vinegar because of the severe pain, I had no idea what happened and took whole family to survey the area and found several of these critters. That was in 1990, at 2016 the indented scar from the tissue damage is still 1" x 1/4".
