I found on on my enclosed porch. When my husband went to move it, it struck at him and bit into his glove! This one was about 2' and we had never seen them in Maine.

I just found one in my back yard 7:30 p.m. May 19 th Marshfield Ma. I have never seen one around here before. Very interesting. I'm walk on my lawn felt a bump under my boot looked down and there he / she was.
